If you are looking for a relaxed and friendly break – somewhere where you can enjoy wonderful countryside views or use as a base if attending a wedding at the nearby South Farm, then Newnham Manor is the B&B for you. The beautiful Georgian Grade II Listed Manor house is situated in the middle of our family working farm. The Manor is a house for all seasons; being cool in the summer, with stone and wood floors and warm in the winter, with large open log fires in the hall and drawing room. All the downstairs rooms have French doors spilling out onto south facing terraces, over looking the wonderful garden, where you can sit and enjoy the sun set, with a glass of pimms, after a hard game of tennis or croquet. The six bedrooms are warm and pampering, with easy access to either a shower or bath. Four of the rooms have spectacular, unbroken views of the countryside. We are 10 minutes from South Farm. This newly refurbished part of The Manor House has a large dining room and half sunken, vaulted sitting room, cosy in the winter, cool in the summer. The conservatory catches the first rays of sun in the spring giving an ideal breakfast spot. Set in 5 acres of gardens at the end of a quiet country lane, we have plotted a variety of local walks onto maps in our info pack. We also have a wood fired sauna in the garden, a converted railway carriage, with fire pit and BBQ. It has a fully fitted kitchen, living room with dining area, bedroom and bathroom. The property has heating and air conditioning and the bathroom also has underfloor heating. Through the french doors of the living room there is a small south facing patio with chairs for guests to use. The breakfast welcome pack will include everything you need for a continental breakfast.
